Assist Taybeh’s Palestinian Christian Students

The St. George Orthodox Church of Taybeh in cooperation with the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Norfolk, Virginia has established an endowment fund to generate tuition for students of St. George Orthodox Church, to help educate young Palestinian Christians attend local Palestinian universities, to sustain the Christian community in the Holy Land by helping with educational needs, and to foster better job opportunities and local economic growth.

With a total village population of 2000 people, there are 92 students in the Taybeh Orthodox School, 250 in the Taybeh Latin School, and 5 Hellenic College graduates in residence. $100 a month pays the tuition of an Palestinian Christian student from Taybeh at Birzeit or Bethlehem Universities.

Send a check or money order donation made out to: Road to Emmaus with “Taybeh Christian Students” in the memo line.
